On Demand Counseling is Ohio’s top provider of medication assisted treatment services (MAT) for those working toward recovery from opioid or alcohol misuse. We offer a variety of services including one-on-one counseling, telehealth, group therapy, and supportive services. Our team is passionate about addiction treatment and supporting patients through their journey to recovery. This is an office position located in Austintown, OH.

Position Overview:

Our Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for adding new Providers to our contracts, reviewing and attesting providers CAQH when needed. Creating NPI’s, and submitting new contract applications for On Demand Counseling, New Day Recovery, and On Demand Immediate Care.

Responsibilities:

• Create NPI’s when needed for new providers
• Adding new providers to current rosters with the insurance companies
• Revalidating applications for providers and current contracts
• Following up on status of applications weekly
• Participate in weekly meetings to discuss status of contracts and provider applications
• End dating providers that leave the company with the insurance rosters
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• 3 years credentialing experience preferred
• Medical billing experience is a plus
• Experience on the PNM and insurance portals
• Detail oriented and ability to multi-task
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Word
